EVENT: Road Safety Awareness workshop

National Road Safety Week 2026 was observed from January 11th to January 17th, 2026, with a broader National Road Safety Month running from January 1st to 31st, 2026, focusing on the theme "Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha". Campaigns across India emphasize reducing fatalities through initiatives like road safety rallies, defensive driving training, and education on traffic rules to foster a safer, more responsible road culture.
With this broad perspective in goal, our school had invited Sub-Inspector Harish and Head Constable Kiran to conduct a workshop on road safety. The students listened to the speech and watched the presentation on road safety.

In celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi and the 108th year of Scouting and Guiding, the Sri Chamundi Scouts and Guides Group organised a series of competitions, where our students delivered an outstanding performance and won several prizes.
In the Oratorical Competition, Vaahin Yugan (8A) secured first place, followed by Ashwin Muthiah (9C) in second place and Nideesh R. Shetty (9D) in third place.
In the Fancy Dress Competition, Akshay M (8B) won the first prize. In the Quiz Competition, the team comprising Akshay R. Gowda (9C) and Chetan M. V. (9D) clinched the first prize.

Our High School Vibhava Scouts and Guides Group attended the three-day Rajyapuraskar Camp held from 18–20 December at Doddaballapur, actively participating in a range of enriching activities such as pioneering activities, all-faith prayers, and several other sessions.

Our Vibhava Scouts and Guides Group shone brightly at the Jamboree held from 27 December to 2 January at Belagavi, enthusiastically participating in a wide range of events and activities.

The academic year began on a high note for our High School Scouts and Guides with the inauguration of a new Vibhava Scouts and Guides Unit.
Our Scouts and Guides play a vital role in every school event, contributing with discipline, dedication, and a strong spirit of service.

A grand jamboree event was conducted in Phoenix Residential School, Honaga, Belagavi, Karnataka for six days where the scouts and guides from the entire Karnataka state attended various activities. Our higher primary students attend the same and participated in various activities like

Our children excelled in all the activities. It was a great time of fun and learning life skills.

Bharath scouts and guides, Bangalore North district organised District level Geetha Gayana competition in which Vibhava Scouts group and Unit leader both secured the first place and selected for Division Level.

The Malleswaram Local Association, Bangalore North district Scouts and Guides conducted Dwitiya Sopan Testing camp on 25th Saturday at Chamundi Group in which 15 scouts and 6 guides of our school had appeared for the exam. They topped in the writing, oral and Practical tests and bagged gold, silver and bronze medals.

Malleswaram Local Association organized Geetha Gayana competition in which both Scouts and Guides secured First place and selected for District Level.

- Vibhava Scouts and Guides group has secured the III prize as the Best Unit among 400 schools in the Bangalore North District.

- On 1st August, the Vibhava Group Scouts and Guides celebrated World Scout Scarf Day with great enthusiasm and pride. Scouts and Guides wore their scarves as a symbol of unity, friendship, and the core values of Scouting.
- The event began by welcoming three new teachers into the Scouting movement by presenting them with scarves. One of our Scouts delivered a speech on the history and significance of the Scout scarf, reminding everyone that it is not just a piece of cloth, but a symbol of belonging to a worldwide family of Scouts.
- All Scouts and Guides renewed their promise, pledging to uphold the principles of Scouting. A scarf-tying demonstration was conducted, teaching new members the proper way to wear and respect the scarf. The program continued with a group song and Scout prayer, spreading the spirit of unity and friendship.
- The celebration concluded with a message encouraging all students to carry forward the values of kindness, leadership, and community service, which the Scout scarf represents. The day served as a reminder that once a Scout, always a Scout, and that the scarf is a thread connecting millions of young people across the globe in a bond of peace and brotherhood.

The Vibhava Group organized scouts and guides activities for Parents’ Day by conducting co-talk between parents and children, hand printing, rangoli competitions and musical chair for parents. It was conducted in the higher primary building by the scouts and guide masters. All parents of the scouts and guides participated. The program was a great success.
